He is a seasoned professional with diversified experience in Oil & Gas Industry of over 30 years which includes ~19 years of experience in British Gas and BP Plc JVs in India in the area of Midstream and Downstream businesses.
Prior to joining Adani, he was with Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) as Sr. Vice President and CFO for Refinery & Marketing Division (Retail Petroleum Business). He worked in RIL for over 10 years in the areas of City Gas Distribution, Gas Marketing, RLNG Business (in RIL-BP JV) and Petroleum Retail businesses.
Prior to RIL, he had spent over 13 years in Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL) –A JV of GAIL and prior to that he was with GAIL for around 5 years.
He is a well-known CGD/gas business professional in India and has all round CGD, Gas Business and Petro Retail business experience in India.
Mr. Shaishav Shah, Managing Director
He has been a prime driving force behind the group’s great success over the period of time. He is the group's strategy think-tank and has been spearheading new ventures. He is playing a pivotal role in reinforcing SMTPL's focus on R&D, Market Penetration, and cost optimization. His zeal & pro-active work approach ensures a bright future for the company and will result in a healthy bottom line for the company even during trying times.
Mr. Rakesh Shah, Director
He is considered as seer from an aristocratic business family engaged in diverse business activities. With his 40 years of experience, he intellectually applies innovative techniques in business operations.
Mr. Parag Parikh, Director
He is MBA (Finance) and has also attended the Senior Leadership Program (ILPSIE) with INSEAD University and brings with him more than 20 years of experience in the field of Debt and Equity Finance.
Mr. Parikh was associated with GMR Group as Group Head - Project Finance & Structured Finance. He also served as the CFO of GMR Energy. He started his career at Gammon Infrastructure Projects Ltd in 1999 and at the time of leaving in 2014, he was designated as Executive Director & CFO.
His notable achievements include Financial Closures, Refinancing and Securitization of road and power projects. Besides project financial closures, he has also handled corporate restructuring, corporate finance, raised Equity Capital via Divestments of Assets, Equity offerings like QIP, Private Equity and was responsible for Investor Relations for the Capital Markets. Notably, he was the CFO and spearheaded the IPO in the past.
